Thompson Int'l Speedway - July 13th - 4TH

After rain forced a delay from Wednesday to Thursday, the JCM crew used the limited practice available to get the #54 up to speed right away. First topping the practice sessions, the #54 then rolled to a win in the first heat - after an up close view when the #17 of Travis Benjamin spun in turn two.

In the 75 lap short sprint feature, Johnny started on the pole but fell back with the #54 not nearly as hooked up as it had been in the daylight. Johnny rallied to finish fourth, holding off Travis Benjamin and Mike Rowe.
